Romanian Real Estate Transaction Statistics turns the ANCPI spreadsheets into something you can actually read.

It shows transaction counts by county, property type, and time period so you can compare activity across regions without digging through xlsx files. The goal was simple; to give buyers and sellers a clearer picture of market volume when price data is not public.

Unfortunately, limitations are real. The dataset includes only transaction counts - no prices, no price per square meter, no medians. Updates are quarterly and only as detailed as ANCPI publishes.

I have read that there might be a bill coming up soon enough that would change this, so we can keep our fingers crossed for more transparency on this topic.

I built this app in roughly 1h including research using an AI assisted workflows: quick data wrangling, a lightweight interface, and fast iteration on charts and filters. The point is not to show off a model, but to shorten the loop between a question and a usable answer.

These kinds of workflows mean one can ship small, focused tools like this without months of overhead.
